Compete with faith, humility, and respect.
Every team should gather together before each game or match for the current league pregame prayer. The prayer is maintained annually so the league can emphasize a shared theme each season. Coaches should also model respectful conduct toward officials, opponents, players, and spectators.
2026-2027 Pregame Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of this day, our teammates, our opponents, our coaches, officials, families, and schools. Help us compete with courage, humility, fairness, and joy. Keep everyone safe, help us respect one another, and let our words and actions reflect Christ in all that we do. Amen.
