GOVERNING RULES

CIF rules apply except where league rules modify them.

EQUIPMENT & ROSTERS

Tennis shoes are required; casts and jewelry are prohibited. Varsity boys use a 29.5 ball; JV and girls use 28.5; 3rd/4th grade uses 27.5. All present players should participate in regular-season games. Four eligible players are required to avoid a forfeit.

GAME FORMAT

Games use two 14-minute halves, with limited stop time late in each half. Teams receive two timeouts per half. Overtime is playoff-only.

PRESSING & FOULS

Varsity may press subject to the mercy rule. JV A has late-half pressing limits; JV B and 3rd/4th grade do not press. Technical/flagrant misconduct may lead to ejection and suspension.

PLAYOFFS

A divisions qualify; 3rd/4th basketball and B divisions do not. With 8+ teams, seeds 1-4 form Gold and 5-8 Silver; with fewer than 8, only the top 4 advance. Tiebreakers: head-to-head, best win, coin flip. No borrowed players in playoffs.

PRAYER

Teams gather in prayer before every game.
